Daniel Carpenter

Dan Carpenter is a freelance journalist, fiction writer, poet, playwright and former longtime newspaper columnist and book reviewer, born and residing in Indianapolis. He has published poems, stories and essays in Poetry East, The Laurel Review, Illuminations, Pearl, Xavier Review, Fiction and many other journals. He has published two books of poems, The Art He’d Sell for Love (Cherry Grove) and More Than I Could See (Restoration); and two of non-fiction, Hard Pieces (Indiana University) and Indiana Out Loud (Indiana Historical Society).
