David A. Summers

After several years of  swimming in the shark-infested waters of Midwestern academia, David Summers escaped to the Pacific Northwest where he practiced law  for several decades. Now retired, he spends much of his time writing short fiction, hoping he’s not causing his Knox College literature professors, now long  departed, to spin in their graves.

His work has appeared in a variety of publications, including Close to the BoneThe RavensPerch, Thuglit, Out of the Gutter,  Shotgun Honey and the Seattle Star.
