Emma Becker
Emma Becker was born in 1988 in Île-de-France, the daughter of an entrepreneur father in the event industry and a psychologist mother, granddaughter of a doctor; her parents separated in 20011.
She was educated at the Institut Montalembert in Nogent-sur-Marne, obtaining a baccalaureate with honours in 2006, after which she graduated from the University of Sorbonne-Nouvelle.
Her first two novels were Mr in 2011 and Alice in 2015
In 2013 after a break-up, she decided to go to Berlin and, three years later, gave birth to her first child.
In 2019 La Maison was published, an autofiction novel in which she evokes her experience of prostitution. It received the 2019 France Culture-Télérama student novel prize.
In 2022, she published her fourth novel, L’inconduite, inspired by the birth of her child.
